United Online(R) to Provide NetZero(R) DSL Plan Subscribers with 2Wire Premium Broadband Access Equipment
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- United Online, Inc. , a leading provider of consumer Internet and media services, and 2Wire, Inc., a provider of broadband service delivery platforms, today announced that United Online is providing 2Wire premium residential gateways to all subscribers of United Online's NetZero(R) DSL broadband service.
With over nine million 2Wire gateways currently installed in homes around the world, 2Wire HomePortal residential gateways have set the standard for excellence in broadband access equipment. 2Wire gateways combine a high- performance DSL modem, a high-speed router, professional-grade firewall, and home networking capabilities.

2Wire will also provide United Online with backend management services utilizing CMS, the 2Wire remote management platform, for the deployment and management of broadband equipment and services.
United Online launched NetZero DSL broadband service in November 2006. It is currently available to DSL-qualified customers in select major metropolitan areas including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
