Global Telecom Leader Telestial Introduces New Pre-Paid Data Services

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SAN DIEGO, CA, October 21 / MARKET WIRE/ --

Telestial (www.telestial.com), the largest
online travel communications retailer, today announced new
pre-paid data service plans that give total control in advance of expenses
for mobile data and online activity from a wireless device. With
Telestial's new pre-paid data services (www.telestial.com/data.php), there
are no "surprise bills," no contracts, no monthly usage requirements, and
no monthly service fees for completing such basic online tasks as using a
Web browser, sending a text message, or forwarding a photo over email.

Unlike competitive "use now, bill later" services that can lead to
unforeseen charges, Telestial's pre-paid data service plans let budget
minded people predict and buy service tailored for their usage patterns or
specific needs.

Telestial's basic pre-paid data services are available in 71 countries
worldwide, and are available as part of a package with the purchase of
either a Passport Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card, Passport Lite SIM
card, and/or Passport Plus SIM card. Prices vary depending on the country
in which the plan is used. Pre-paid 3G data services with faster
upload/download speeds and more enhanced services than those of traditional
wireless networks will be available in 2009 in 10 countries: Australia,
Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Puerto Rico, Spain, the United
States and the United Kingdom.

Pricing for Telestial's pre-paid data service is based on the size of
downloaded/uploaded files. For example, using a wireless device to send a
photo via email (approximately 100 kilobytes of data) will cost $0.50 in
the United Kingdom, $1 in Mexico, $1.50 in the United States and Canada and
$2.50 in Japan (Note: The examples cited here are estimates, based on an
approximate size assumption. Actual file sizes and user experiences will
vary.).

"Our customers can use their wireless phones to surf the Internet, download
photos, watch videos, and use email without experiencing the 'sticker
shock' from their bill that is all too common with our competitors' data
services," said Ken Grunski, president, Telestial. "We're proud to be one
of the first companies to offer pre-paid data services, giving customers
advance control on how much money they'll spend on data services and help
them avoid any unpleasant surprises when they return from their travels."

Telestial offers a wide range of telecom-related products and services,
including pre-paid phone calls and text messages; GSM telephone rentals;
and satellite phones for global use (especially helpful for travelers to
remote areas). The company's Passport SIM card also comes with the
Telestial Travel Journal, a free service for customers who'd like an
automatic record of their travel experiences. With the Travel Journal, the

traveler's trip is automatically displayed on a Google map and a journal is
created on a private Web page with images of locations visited, local
weather and a record of recent communications. Users can update and
personalize their Travel Journal at anytime, either by sending texts or
photos to the Travel Journal.

With offices worldwide in San Diego, Boston, London and Melbourne,
Australia, Telestial provides customer service 24/7, 365 days a year in
seven languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and
Japanese.
