SmarTrend(R) News Watch: Boeing Loses More Dreamliner Orders

Shares of Boeing (NYSE:BA) fell 3% during thursday trading after the company gave more bad news about its 787 Dreamliner jumbo jet. After delaying the flight yet again due to structural issues, the company has lost 15 more orders for the Dreamliner in the past week from Qantas Airways, offsetting 9 new orders it received for its smaller planes. That brings the company's net new orders for the first half of 2009, and it is yet to schedule a flight date for the long-awaited 787.
