Belden Showcases Two Industry Game-Changers at NAB 2014

The first game-changer is the unveiling of the newly formed Grass Valley, a Belden Brand. The second industry game-changer is specifically for broadcast engineers. For the first time, Belden will showcase its custom pre-terminated cable assemblies using its SMPTE 311M, tactical fiber, coax, triax and audio cables combined with Belden and other industry-leading connector brands.

In correlation with the exhibit, Belden's Multimedia Technology Manager, Steve Lampen will present 4K and Copper Cable which describes the challenges of 4K and UHD video over coax. Steve will also outline the work to design a coax cable that can carry the required high bandwidth signals over a single link. This presentation will be on April 9 at 9 AM local time in room S-228 of the convention center.
