IFA 2014: Visitors enthusiastic about MagentaEINS

(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 11 September 2014 Release date- 10092014 - Deutsche Telekom reports on a successful few days at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) trade show in Berlin, which closes its doors today.

The launch of the converged fixed-mobile MagentaEINS portfolio at the world's biggest consumer electronics fair, along with the accompanying communication campaign, advertising, and intensive communication at the stand itself, has been generating a great deal of interest among visitors. A total of about 135,000 visitors came to Deutsche Telekom's 3,000-square-meter stand in hall 4.2.

The main focus this year has been MagentaEINS and the new product world, which covers customers' telecommunications needs in their entirety. The MagentaEINS information area was the most heavily frequented, attracting 64 percent of visitors. Also the product worlds MagentaENTERTAINMENT, MagentaWOHNEN (living), MagentaSERVICE and MagentaARBEITSWELTEN (working worlds) attracted the visitors. 90 percent of visitors asked said they found that the products had been put across convincingly and presented in a way that made them easy to understand, and more than 95 percent were happy with the advice given by the staff working at the stand.

The 3D projections on the more than 130-meter-long wall relief proved to be a real attraction. They offered an impressive idea of the creative possibilities that the interplay between media and architecture can open up. The unique display running around the stand, together with individual experience exhibits and non-stop on-stage presentations, talks, music and acrobatic performances, made the Telekom stand a popular IFA highlight. The analysis of the surveys conducted on site revealed that visitors browsed the stand for 14 percent longer than last year.

'We put the positive survey results down to the way the experience world interplayed perfectly with the new MagentaEINS offerings and the rest of the portfolio,' said Antje Hundhausen, Vice President 3D Brand Experience by Deutsche Telekom. 'It is particularly pleasing to see how the realization of the trade fair concept, in conjunction with the new campaign message, is also having such a positive effect on how people rate the brand. 70 percent of visitors confirmed that the 'Home and mobile become ONE: MagentaEINS' slogan had been clearly conveyed.' Deutsche Telekom has spent the six days at IFA positioning itself as an integrated telecommunications provider that is building out its strong standing in access business. MagentaEINS and Telekom's portfolio of offerings surrounding entertainment, communication, living, cloud, and service, attracted a great deal of interest. The Company paid great attention to designing its stand from the customer perspective and created an experience that invited visitors to interact, try out, and discover the wide range of products on offer.
