Allconnect Announces Partnership with Westar Energy to Provide Free, Personalized Assistance with Home Service Choices

Allconnect, a national leader in connecting consumers with essential home services, today announced a new partnership with Westar Energy, the largest electric utility in Kansas, to offer its Move Advisor program to Westar's nearly 700,000 customers. The program is called 'Connections from Westar Energy' and is a free, one-stop resource for consumers to receive personalized assistance to compare and order home services.

Westar Energy customers who call to transfer or establish service will have the opportunity to speak with an Allconnect home service advisor, who reviews the numerous home services options specifically available at their new address, including satellite TV, cable TV, Internet, phone, and home security systems. After discussing the plans, promotions and bundles available, the advisor then takes the order and schedules installation, providing end-to-end service.

Customers who transfer or establish service with Westar Energy online will also have the opportunity to explore, compare and purchase home service options available at their new address through Allconnect's e-commerce platform.

"We are always looking for new ways to enhance our customers' experience, and Allconnect understands that," said Hal Jensen, Executive Director Customer Programs & Services for Westar Energy. "This program makes the complicated process of setting up home services easy, and I think Westar Energy's customers will appreciate the value and convenience this adds to their experience with us."

Allconnect reaches more than 50 million U.S. households and is the national leader in connecting utility and energy customers with essential home services and other utility value-add products, and Westar is the largest electric provider in Kansas, serving nearly 700,000 customers. The partnership with Westar expands Allconnect's reach within Kansas, and continues the expansion of its national footprint among utility and energy customers and other affiliates.

"Allconnect has a proven track record of improving customer satisfaction for our utility partners by saving their customers time and money," said Sam Howe, Allconnect CEO. "We're excited to put our technology, data-driven processes and friendly, consultative approach to work for Westar Energy."
