Mouser's video was selected as a Bronze Telly Award winner out of nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions, and web commercials, videos and films. The trophy is an impressive 12-inch tall statue, designed by the same firm that makes the Oscar® and Emmy® Awards.

The award was presented for the online video "Robotics Innovation Spotlight" during which Mouser's celebrity engineer spokesperson Grant Imahara visited the robotics institute at Carnegie Mellon University. It is part of Mouser's Empowering Innovation Together program.
