Deviser Instruments' AE2200 Meter represents the company's newest handheld, multi-function network validation solution for FTTx, RFoG and RF PON installations. The AE2200 provides CSPs with an economically viable solution that consolidates the functions of multiple larger test tools into one neat ultra-portable package. By equiping technicians with a range of future-proof validation tools, accuracy, speed and reliability of network installations can be quickly assessed and optimized. Some of AE2200's "technical features" highlighted in the BTR Review include: cable TV analysis, metallic time domain reflectometer (TDR), a fiberscope, optical time domain reflector-meter (OTDR), optical power meter (OPM), visual fault locator (VFL) and light source (LS). Onboard FiberPathTM fiberlink mapping tools further extend the meter's capabilities by enabling rapid verification of fiber links that reduce the need for OTDR trace interpretation. This makes it an ideal solution for introducing less experienced technicians to cutting-edge network technologies, while providing more experienced engineers with advanced feature-sets. The meter is also fully compatible with Deviser's SYNCOR Asset and Data Management System and capable of uploading channel plans, test profiles, and test results stored in its onboard memory.

Weighing less than 2.2 lbs., the AE2200 has a simple ergonomic design that includes a high-performance battery optimized for all-day operation. The meter is a powerful, practical and value-added network testing solution that any tech can easily use.

"This year, Diamond Technology Reviews recognizes Deviser's AE2200 as one of the industry's top products of 2016." said Tom Gorman, Diamond Reviews Program Chair, of opXL LLC. "Our judges were impressed with Deviser Instruments' year-over-year track record of delivering cutting-edge communication network testing solutions, which this year, centers on the ultra-portable, multi-function features of the new AE2200 network validation meter."
