Time Warner Cable Launches SignatureHome Triple Play Service

Time Warner Cable, the second-largest cable operator, announced the launch of its new SignatureHome offering that delivers a triple play service connecting in-home entertainment, information and technology. 


Included in the new SignatureHome offering are standard features like digital cable package, fastest Internet service and digital home phone product, as well as additional package features such as Whole House DVR, Remote DVR Manager, Wireless Home Networking for up to 14 devices, and VoiceZone on PC.

The VoiceZone on PC allows users to retrieve voice messages online. This service was launched throughout the states of North Carolina and South Carolina in the month of July, according to TMCnet report. The service will also give access to controlling and monitoring digital home phone services from any computer through Internet.

“We have listened to what our customers want and are responding to their needs with a tailored selection of offerings that feature the best of the best in both technology and service,” said Glenn Britt, CEO of Time Warner (News - Alert) Cable, in a statement.

“We believe that SignatureHome will give our customers a distinct experience, enabling them seamless control over multiple technical aspects of their home while ensuring each lifestyle is given the attention and service it deserves,” Britt added.

Company officials say SignatureHome caters to a growing residential market segment that places a premium on personalized service, installation and care.

To serve customers better, SignatureHome customers are assigned a specially trained team of SignatureService agents, including both Personal Solutions Advisors (PSA) and Connections Specialists.

PSAs can be reached via a dedicated SignatureHome phone line or priority online chat. They will field all SignatureHome customer inquiries, work with customers to customize their connectivity needs, and schedule a convenient reservation with a Connections Specialist, according to the company release.

SignatureHome was test-marketed in Charlotte, N.C., during 3Q 2010. The test revealed the most-valued technical features and customer service needs that drive preference among this market segment.
