Intersections Inc., a leading provider of consumer and corporate identity risk management services, has signed a partnership agreement with Comcast (News - Alert) Corporation to provide identity theft protection services as part of an innovative product by Comcast called Constant Guard.

According to the terms of the partnership agreement, Intersections will offer Comcast three unique solutions to help combat the rising threat of identity theft. This will allow the XFINITY Internet customers to keep a close eye on their credit scores and credit profile.

"We are pleased to be working with Comcast to provide innovative online identity theft security services that will enhance the online experience of Comcast's XFINITY Internet customers," said Michael Stanfield, CEO and chairman of Intersections Inc., in a statement. "With the Constant Guard Protection Suite, Comcast is making a statement that security is top priority. Our partnership with Comcast provides the company's XFINITY Internet customers with real time protection," he said.

"Times are still tough, helping our customers protect their identity and credit is critical," said Jay Opperman, senior director of Security and Privacy at Comcast. "We are offering the industry's most comprehensive suite of protection by any major ISP. It makes sense to enhance our Constant Guard services with a product offered by a trusted company like Intersections, that has provided services to the top financial institutions in North America for well over a decade."

Intersections Inc. is a leading provider of consumer and corporate identity risk management services. Established in 1996, Intersections has protected almost 32 million customers. Eight million consumers are actively protected by Intersections' consumer and breach remediation services offered through North America's leading financial institutions, directly to consumers under its award-winning IDENTITY GUARD brand, and through its exclusive partnership with ITAC, the Identity Theft Assistance Center.
