By Anuradha Shukla, TMCnet Contributor

Time Warner (News - Alert) Cable has announced a new monthly 30 minute roundtable show on the many current film offerings available on Movies On Demand.

Called as Talking Pictures On Demand, the monthly talk show is available at no additional cost to Digital TV customers across Time Warner Cable's On Demand footprint.

You can this new show by tuning to the Free Movies On Demand channel and clicking on "Talking Pictures."

The new show will feature new titles including films released before their theatrical release and those exclusively On Demand giving an inside look into what's new and popular On Demand.

Viewers of Talking Pictures On Demand will get access to extra footage including behind the scenes, celebrity interviews and red carpet openings.

New episodes of the show will be available at the beginning of each month.

Neil Rosen, Time Warner Cable's NY1 film critic will lead the first episode of the roundtable discussion that will also include the participation of fellow critics, Bill McCuddy of Forbes.com, Thelma Addams of AMC, and Lisa Rosman of Indiewire.com.

This not to be first episode is set to be very engaging as the panel discusses this year's award-nominated films.

Time Warner Cable is one of the largest providers of video, high-speed data and voice services in the United States.

In January 2012, Time Warner Cable added to its resources to repurchase shares so the company’s board can now authorize up to $4 billion of repurchases.

As reported by TMCnet last week, this addition compares to Time Warner Cable returning about $3.3 billion to shareholders during 2011 via buybacks or dividends.
