By Joe Eitel, TMCnet Contributing Writer

Time Warner announced a partnership today with MLB (News - Alert) Network to offer a behind-the-scenes experience during the 2012 Major League Baseball All-Star Game at MLB Network’s Intentional Talk TV show, hosted by Kevin Millar and Chris Rose. $5000 prize winners will be chosen.

The five grand prize winners will get to meet Kevin Millar and Chris Rose in Kansas City, the site of the 2012 All-Star Game, on July 9. Winners also receive a four-day, three-night trip to attend the All-Star Game festivities, including tickets to the game on July 12, transportation and accommodations.

Winners also get a pair of tickets to MLB’s All-Star FanFest and State Farm Home Run Derby on July 9.

The 2012 All-Star Game will be held at Kauffman Stadium, the home of the Kansas City Royals. The picturesque venue received a $250 million facelift in 2009. It now features a state-of-the-art 84 x 104-foot Crown Vision HD scoreboard.

Upgrades also include a new 7,000-sq-ft. Hall of Fame area, larger concourses, U.S. Toy Little K kids playing area and seating capacity for nearly 39,000.

Intentional Talk airs on the MLB Network weekdays at 5 p.m. EST. The show is an open forum-style program, discussing major news in Major League Baseball that day. Host Kevin Millar is a 2004 World Series champ, and Chris Rose is a longtime and respected MLB broadcaster. Follow and interact with the hosts and the show itself on Twitter @KMillar15, @ChrisRose or @IntentionalTalk. Fans can also visit the show’s Facebook page.

Interested users must reside in the Time Warner (News - Alert) Cable service area. Sweepstakes entrance is on Time Warner Facebook page, open until May 4. The five grand prize winners will be selected and notified by May 7.
