Rovi Corporation, a company specializing in offering solutions that enable consumers to intuitively connect to new entertainment from many sources and locations, has announced that its showcasing its latest lineup of solutions -including TotalGuide, DivX Plus Streaming and the Rovi Advertising Network, at the Cable Show happening this week.

The company officials said that these new technology innovations and market collaborations are mainly aimed at cable service providers to help them to introduce cutting-edge and dynamic entertainment experiences to their subscribers across a range of home and mobile screens.

Rovi plans to introduce TotalGuide Solution on Pace's next-generation Multi-tuner Video Gateway (News - Alert) for "home content sharing", that includes Whole Home DVR and IP connectivity. According to Rovi, TotalGuide on Pace's platform is designed to provide a common user experience across multiple platforms enabling consumers seamless access to digital content while also giving operators more choice on how to implement content sharing and IP capabilities in their infrastructure.

Also, the newly introduced DivX Plus Streaming offers versatile features including an end-to-end, secure adaptive streaming solution of over-the-top IP content to multiple platforms, providing a feature-rich, premium digital entertainment experience with advanced multimedia features.

Rovi recently made news for debuting its Rovi TotalGuide Solution for Pace's Dallas' HD-DVR Set-top box (STB). The implementation of Dallas HD-DVRs will produce more improvements for TotalGuide. They will also get further combination of Rovi's signature recommendations technology and six degrees discovery to provide a more personalized experience.
