Comcast Introduces VoiceEdge in California

Business VoiceEdge from Comcast (News - Alert) allows users to concentrate on their business instead of business communications as it provides a fully managed voice solution. This solution saves time and avoids capital expenditure. Depending on the number of lines a customer chooses, business Class Voice service ranges from $24.95 to $34.95 per line. Accounts do not require a one to one ratio of lines to employees.
Recently, the company announced that Comcast Business VoiceEdge was introduced in California.
Assisting today's multisite companies and mobile workforces communicate more efficiently, Comcast Business VoiceEdge also offers complete unified communications (UC) benefits and high definition (HD) voice quality.
According to the company, the service will be available throughout Northern and Central California including San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Fresno, Monterey and Stockton. With availability in additional Comcast markets to be completed by the end of 2012, the service is now offered across 20 states in Comcast's network.
“Northern and Central California have a diverse, technology-rich economy that attracts businesses of all kinds, many of which view voice services as a critical part of their daily operations," said Ted Girdner, vice president at Comcast Business Services, California region. "The addition of our cloud-based voice service allows us to provide our customers with a wide range of reliable, cost-effective services that they need to be successful whether they are a local realtor's office or a large software company with multiple sites.”
Recently, the company announced that it won the 2012 North American Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) Competitive Strategy Leadership Award for MSO Ethernet Services for its successful Ethernet services.
