DSL Extreme Launches Fusion Broadband + Phone in Partnership with Sonic.net

DSL Extreme recently announced that in partnership with Sonic.net, a premier provider of broadband access to consumers and wholesale ISP partners, it has launched a new product called DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband + Phone (News - Alert).
The latest offering from DSL Extreme leverages the advanced ADSL2+ technology to bundle high-speed Internet along with traditional home phone service in an affordable pricing model. Business and residential customers across greater Los Angeles and Sacramento will be able to benefit from the new service.
In a statement, George Mitsopoulos, General Manager of DSL Extreme, said that, "In today's market, we see increased demand for bundled services that offer high speeds, full features, and attractive pricing. We are excited to offer the affordable Fusion Broadband + Phone bundled package to our customers. By working with trusted partner Sonic.net and using existing phone lines, DSL Extreme is able to expand its current suite of services to businesses and consumers, all of which are supported by our outstanding customer care team."
Customers who are interested in the service can pre-qualify and sign up for DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband + Phone service online. The starting price for the service has been fixed at $39.95 per month with a one-year commitment, and comes with easy setup which also includes a modem, pre-configured to function right out of the box.
George Naspo, president and CEO at DSL Extreme's parent company IKANO (News - Alert) Communications, said that, "Our clients will love the Fusion product. It offers more for less. We are pleased to work closely with Sonic.net, a long time, respected competitor, and now partner, for the benefit of DSL Extreme's customer base."
DSL Extreme Fusion Broadband + Phone will provide customers with up to 20 MB per second download speed and 1 MB (or faster) upload speed; this includes unlimited downloads and caps on bandwidth. Furthermore, the service includes traditional home phone service and will offer clients unlimited nationwide calling across the country, as well as affordable international calling.
Customers will have the option of porting their existing phone number to DSL Extreme and or alternatively opt for a new phone service and new phone number.
