Sky to Join Home Gateway Initiative (HGI) to Support in Improving Digital Home Services

Home Gateway Initiative (HGI (News - Alert)), an organization that represents manufacturers and service providers for the broadband home, unveiled that Sky is the new service provider to join the company, supporting international work for improving HGI’s digital home services.

The members of the HGI enable implementation of engaging, and in-home services as per the specifications of the service provider’s technical solutions and requirements for Home Gateway (News - Alert) and any related infrastructure. Sky, the leading home communications and entertainment provider in the UK, will join as a member of HGI, supporting the company’s activities in enhancing its digital home services.
