Acutek Solution, a Bellevue-based technology integrations and software solutions company; Beenius, a specialist in interactive TV middleware; and Dune HD,  a company specializing in HD media players and connected boxes, are all set to add value by combining their technology expertise.

The companies have teamed up to create an end-to-end OTT, IPTV (News - Alert) and VOD content delivery platform for operators.

As per this joint partnership deal, the Dune HD-connected set-top box family and the Acutek Solution SaaS (News - Alert) delivery platform will run on the progressive Beesmart TV middleware from Beenius, which the companies are betting to be the most cost-effective means for operators to deliver streaming content to consumer TVs, in a single easy-to-deploy solution.

At NAB, the digital media industry event happening from April 6-11, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the companies will showcase their new connected boxes, specifically developed to enable operators to quickly and seamlessly deploy OTT, IPTV and VOD services to subscribers.

The Dune HD boxes are pre-loaded with the Beenius Beesmart interactive TV middleware platform and upgraded Beesmart functions, which let users connect and share their TV experience across social networks with Beesmart, while increasing loyalty, average revenue per user and brand promotion for operators.

The Acutek Solution SaaS platform brings operators a complete turnkey solution for delivering content to consumers that dramatically shortens time to market.

All three companies will demonstrate the integrated Dune HD TV-102AW, and as a promotional package, the companies will give away the connected set-top boxes pre-configured with the delivery platform, giving operators an out-of-the-box trial.
