RGB Exhibits 'Multiscreen 2.0' Solutions at Cable Show

RGB Networks will be showcasing its new offering titled 'Multiscreen 2.0' solutions at the Cable Show 2013. The company confirmed that it will be showcasing two crucial units of 'Multiscreen 2.0' solutions, namely the latest Video Multiprocessing Gateway (News - Alert) Gen 2 and Ad Insertion for Multiscreen or AIM solution.

Over-the-top streaming and other mobile video services are now available extensively. Cable operators and other VSPs therefore need to utilize unique groundbreaking video delivery technologies in order to maintain their competitive edge. RGB's 'Multiscreen 2.0' solutions is made up of a number of next-generation products for real-time, on-demand and time-shifted delivery. Apart from assisting VSPs to considerably enlarge and utilize their TV Everywhere implementations, RGB's 'Multiscreen 2.0' solutions are instrumental for developing new revenues.

VMG Gen 2 is the core of RGB’s Multiscreen 2.0 real-time streaming solution. This carrier-class transcoding platform carries out the highest density instantaneous transcoding with the finest video quality. The component’s simple in-chassis redundancy design ensures high dependability and rationalized operations. VSPs can move to an established model for monetizing video services to the multiscreen environment using RGB’s Ad AIM solution.

The Cable Show 2013 is scheduled to run June 10-12.
