Dune HD Set-top Boxes Integrated with Hibox Systems' IPTV, OTT Platforms

Dune HD, a provider of full HD media players and connected boxes, and Hibox Systems, a provider of interactive information and entertainment solutions, stated that the Dune HD TV Series connected set-top boxes are now integrated with Hibox’s flexible IPTV (News - Alert) and OTT platform.
The combined prowess of these technologies have now equipped operators with powerful yet flexible means to deliver IPTV and OTT content to homes and hotel rooms globally. Operators will be able to deliver the precise content demanded by their subscribers and customize it with their own branding.

Dune HD asserted that along with Hibox, it is focused on providing a new technology that is capable of ensuring full support to operators in their content-delivery goals. The Hibox Systems middleware now built into the Dune HD set-top boxes should deliver more benefits to the customer and also continuously add to the value of Dune HD devices.
Hibox explained that its Hibox Aura is a complete IPTV and OTT software platform for delivering TV, VOD, and interactive services to end users in any IP-based network. The platform can be accessed from set-top boxes, smart TVs, various mobile devices as well as from traditional desktop and laptop PCs. The platform features an intuitive Web-based administration interface, facilitating the administration and implementation of new features and services requested by the operator along with furnishing full control over the platform.
