NanoTech and GOC Partner to Provide the Ultimate Outdoor TV Experience

By Mini Swamy, TMCnet Contributor

The Outdoor TV market is still in infancy, but as technology for outdoor use evolves, this fast-growing industry has kept pace. Not to be outdone, Nanotech Entertainment (NTEK), determined to provide its customers with the ultimate outdoor experience, has given the entertainment industry a fillip by entering into a deal with Global Outdoor Concepts (GOC).

With 4K Ultra HD Televisions beginning to stir homes with promises of an enhanced viewing experience, GOC hopes to showcase the abilities of its new 4K TV sets at the Cedia Expo in Denver with the help of Nuvola media players from NTEK.

“We are pleased to be partnered with innovators like Global Outdoor Concepts,” said Jeffrey A. Foley, CEO at NTEK.

The Nuvola media player, the world’s first streaming 4K UltraHD player, can stream 4K UltraHD movies and videos from a variety of sources.

4K UltraHD, also known as Ultra High Definition, Ultra HD or 4K, is a video format that is stated to have been conceived by the Japanese public broadcasting network, NHK, on October 17, 2012. 4K TVs can apparently deliver a vibrant and natural picture that is four-times clearer than high definition.

GOC was created in 2004 to develop the world’s first outdoor weather-resistant LCD TV with wireless video/audio signal transmission and that signaled the subsequent birth of the MirageVision LCD Outdoor HD TV, which later evolved into a brand new 4K UltraHD MirageVision.

“We are very excited about the amazing resolution provided by the new 4K UltraHD products. NanoTech has provided us with their innovative Nuvola media player and amazing 4K UltraHD content that really shows off our MirageVision products. We are very enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with NanoTech,” commented Dale Potts, CEO of GOC.

GOC will demonstrate its MirageVision products powered by NanoTech at booth no.3856 at the Cedia Expo on September 25th through the 28th. This will give a further boost to NTEK as it continues to lead the market in bringing the 4K entertainment experience to consumers.
