yes Satellite, a home entertainment provider in Israel, recently announced it opted for Radware (News - Alert)'s advanced global load balancing and integrated security solutions, including Alteon NG, DefensePro and AppWall in a bid to help launch its new video platform service yesGO.

yesGO allows customers to access video content on their PCs, MACs, iOS and Android (News - Alert) smartphones and tablets.

Officials said that to provide this service with over 40 linear channels and thousands of hours of premium video on demand, yes Satellite selected Radware's Alteon NG, which is a next-generation Application Delivery Controller.

yes Satellite also chose the Alteon NG to unburden the processing-intensive transfer procedures of SSL data that earlier used to overload their servers.

The firm installed different virtual environments for varied services by deploying Radware's Alteon NG.

In order to protect, yesGO against network and application downtime, yes Satellite also deployed Radware's DefensePro, a real-time behavioral based DDoS attack mitigation device and AppWall, which is an ICSA certified web application firewall.

DefensePro offers security for DDoS mitigation and SSL-based protection to completely protect applications and networks from known and emerging network security threat.

AppWall also helps secure yesGo through real-time mitigation of web application threats and vulnerabilities and blocks attacks at the perimeter.
