Vivicast Media Signs New Agreement with MY COMBAT CHANNEL

Focusing on catering to cable, IPTV (News - Alert), OTT and mobile companies around the world, VIVICAST MEDIA and MY COMBAT CHANNEL have signed a multi-year global distribution agreement covering all platforms.

FilmOn.TV Networks CEO, Alki David and Fabiano Iha jointly own MY COMBAT CHANNEL. David runs the FilmOn.TV Networks Inc. portfolio of channels and the global FilmOn platform that currently carries the channel worldwide. Having fought in UFC, PRIDE, King of the Cage, WEF, Extreme Challenger, Hitman, Lockdown in Paradise and Battledome, Fabiano Iha, who hails from Brazil, is a former two-time world champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the company announced in a press release.

Vivicast Media's President, Stuart Smitherman, said, "We are thrilled about our relationship with MY COMBAT CHANNEL. Today's entertainment viewer is looking for excitement and variety as part of their overall video experience and that's what the channel delivers. We invite Telco TV attendees to come out and meet one of the sport's great stars, Fabiano Iha, from 2-4 PM on October 26th at our booth #547. Fabiano Iha’s post-fighting career includes training some of the best MMA fighters and action stars such as Vin Diesel, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Tito Ortiz, Vitor Belfort and Ricco Rodriguez. MY COMBAT CHANNEL is poised to be a world-wide success with combat sports achieving huge mainstream popularity combined with Vivicast's adaptable distribution strategy.

Recently, Next 1 Interactive announced that it is expanding its relationship with Vivicast. The multi-year distribution deal, which had focused initially on the US, is now going global for multiple platforms. Both companies will be working closely to offer the innovative network around the world. R&R TV combines targeted lifestyle, travel and real estate programming which works well with Vivicast's focus on multi-national, multi-platform programming. Vivicast will be offering the channel to all cable, IPTV, OTT and mobile operators.
