TiVo's board appointed Thomas S. Rogers as a director in September 2003 with subsequent appointments as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company effective from July 1, 2005. Rogers was also Vice Chairman of the Board of the company before he was appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Prior to his appointment at TiVo, Rogers was Chairman of the Board of Teleglobe International Holdings, Ltd., provider of voice, data, Internet, and mobile telephony services. Among his other top level appointments, Rogers served as Senior Operating Executive for media and entertainment for Cerberus Capital Management in addition to being Chairman and CEO of PRIMEDIA, Inc.
