Micro Interconnects Intros 38AWG Low Loss Micro Coaxial Cables

By Jyothi Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Micro Interconnects, a company offering micro coaxial cables, has announced that it is introducing 38AWG low loss micro coaxial cable to its Super Micro Coaxial Product Line.

The new Super Micro Coaxial product line was introduced last month with Fluoropolymer foam dielectric and is offered in both standard and custom 36 AWG and 38 AWG micro coaxial configurations.

Now the newly introduced 38AWG low loss product offers unique performance characteristics and a velocity propagation of 70 percent. It allows the use of a smaller cable, with an increase in data rate density and it also can attain higher performance once terminated to Hirose, IPEX, and JAE micro coaxial connectors – allowing for higher data rate and/or longer cable lengths.

The company is currently offering the 38AWG low loss product in both standard and custom micro coaxial cable assemblies.

Micro Interconnects is a leading manufacturer of high data transfer micro coaxial assemblies. The company was recently in news for opening a new state-of-the art manufacturing facility.

The company recently became a featured portfolio company under High Speed Interconnects, a holding company focused on growing exceptional interconnect technology companies. It even received Hirose's Value-added Interconnect Partner certification that validates Micro Interconnects has met, and continues to meet, Hirose's highest quality standards and superior manufacturing expectations.

Micro Interconnects is certified to offer all Hirose customers DF36, DF38, and U.FL micro coaxial assemblies.
