France-based cable television, Internet, and phone provider Numericable and Netvibes, a provider of the personalized homepage, have announce the launch of MyNumericable

A completely customizable Web portal, MyNumericable enables users to access personalized TV schedules, email, billing services, local news, weather, games, blogs, widgets and other services like Facebook, MySpace, YouTube (News - Alert)—all from a single start page, which is powered by Netvibes.

“MyNumericable leverages the power of the Netvibes platform to deliver content that’s infinitely personalized for each of their many customers,” said Stefan Lechere, vice president of European Business Development at Netvibes.

MyNumericable offers users a customized homepage which delivers their favorite blogs, news, photos, videos, music, games, instant messengers, search engines and social networks in one place.

In addition, with the help of MyNumericable, users can access customer account services and a variety of exclusive promotions and game contests.

MyNumericable also offers Numericable users access to the Netvibes Ecosystem, a collection of universal widgets and personalized content with around 120,000 widgets and feeds.

In the coming months, officials said MyNumericable will offer integrated cable television services, such as the ability to schedule DVR recordings remotely on a customer’s home cable box from the Website.

“We chose Netvibes to power our new customer portal because they offer the widest variety of quality content and cross-platform widgets,” said Olivier Gerolami, COO at Numericable.

He also said that with MyNumericable, users can check their email, personalize their TV guide, and get access to all kinds of information, local news and weather reports, and all of their favorite social networks and Web services from their homepage.

In partnership with Netvibes, MyNumericable has also developed two widgets especially for Numericable customers, Numericable Email and Numericable 1-Click.
