Praebius Sells out all Cable TV Ads in University Campuses

Praebius Communications says it has sold out all of its Cable TV ads to political candidates for August, September and October in its niche university campus systems.
Praebius is a digital media and video communications company which develops and deploys Ad Insertion and streaming media technology into the cable TV, Satellite and IPTV (News - Alert) markets. Praebius operates as the advertising sales for systems on a local, regional and national level in cable systems, division one University, retirement communities and MDU multible dwelling units across the U.S.
The company says that they can reach specific Designated Marketing Areas (DMAs) inside of local, regional and national markets with their technology that was developed for cable industry, now updated to accommodate digital platforms.
Analysts say Cable TV advertising gives an instant validity, prominence and excitement for the product promoted and demographic targeting is more accurate with cable TV (i.e. cartoons for kids, sports for fans, GOV for adults/women aged 25-40).
Praebius with the help of the ad systems technology deployed in the university campuses claims that it is serving over 100,000 students with over 23,000 thirty second spots per university campus on cable TV networks. They are in negotiation with many universities and are also planning to add 60 more campuses in their hold.
Dave Allen, Ad Systems V.P. of Sales, said: "Our Ad sales have been ringing the bell this month and last. We are finding it necessary to consider adding more networks in future installations to serve the needs of the many regional and national advertisers that are looking to us as a niche advertiser to get their messages out to the 18- to 25-year-old college student."
He added that many universities operate their own cable system that feed television programming to campus dorm rooms, university housing, classrooms, offices and public areas that serve a campus' total population. Cable TV programming like CNN, ESPN (News - Alert), MTVU and TBS can be seen in lounge areas, including student union areas, lobbies, and many other public areas on campus. This audience includes University faculty, students, and visitors on campus.
