MRV Acts as Bronze Sponsor at SkiTAM 2010

In order to demonstrate its philanthropic efforts and also express its commitment to the cable television industry, the company has participated as a bronze sponsor at the SkiTAM 2010 .
"Our sponsorship at SkiTAM not only allows us to continue our commitment to the cable industry, but also allows us to play a part in helping these talented athletes to fulfill their goals," Noam Lotan, CEO of MRV Communications (News - Alert), said.
The US Adaptive Ski Team athletes train and compete throughout the ski season, and it is SkiTam sponsorship that provides them with funds needed for training, purchasing specialized equipment and travel to competitions around the globe. This is the largest source of support for the team.
SkiTAM is an annual event, which is hosted by the Cable and Telecommunications Association and brings together cable and programming executives from across the country to raise funds to allow athletes to compete. This year's event was held from April 8 to April 11 in Vail, Colo. at the Vail Cascade Resort.
