JENA Corporation, a division of JIUZHOU Electric Group Company, Ltd. in China, and Qtv, a dealer in digital convergence solutions, have stated that they are entering into a collaboration through which they plan to integrate Qtv's internet TV media player with JENA's network connected set-top boxes (STB) and televisions.

This move will enable consumers to receive best quality content delivered online through the combination of JENA's products and the Qtv media solution and they can also load the Qtv Internet TV Media Player on their mobile phones and computers for a comprehensive three screen media solution.

Qtv has claimed that their internet TV media player isn't just a media player but a fast-growing network of Internet content and service providers. Qtv has made the process of finding and accessing content online easier and they have organized millions of content options from all the content and service providers into a single, integrated user interface. Qtv is also implementing Widevine (News - Alert) digital rights management (DRM) to ensure that premium content remains secure. The content from all the providers is integrated in a simple-to-use interface that allows users to browse for content by category, genre, provider, favorites, keyword and title.

Charles Mao, CEO of JENA Corporation has said that the Qtv media solution adds significant value to its products by giving consumers the content they want, when they want, and where they want it. They are excited to be partnering with Qtv to create the newest generation of STB and LED/LCD TV products.

Stacy Cook, CEO of Qtv added that JENA is a world leader in manufacturing set-top boxes and digital TV products and it is a privilege to be working with them. The combination of JENA's hardware and Qtv's media solution will create a powerful new line of affordable interactive TV products that expands people's entertainment options while helping them manage their entertainment experience.
