Hallmark Channels recently announced two significant milestones to distribute its channels.

 

Hallmark Movie Channel was the cable network which exhibited a very quick growth in 2009 and is retaining its rank as the rapidly expanding cable network in 2010 till date. In the opinion of Nielsen, by last of May, there will be 35.8 million subscribers for Hallmark Movie Channel. The network has added more than 17 million new subscribers for the past one year,thus increasing the numbers of subscribers to twice the amount as compared to the previous year.

 

Recently, DirecTV (News - Alert) Hallmark introduced Channel HD in 10 million homes. Industry estimates of the HD universe states that, within a span of six months, 40 percent of subscribers started to view Hallmark Channel HD penetration.
