Changes to Viamedia's South Dakota Management Team

The South Dakota management team for Viamedia, a top independent cable representative firm, announced that it is undergoing strategic changes. Viamedia’s Rapid City market will have Jeana Wintersteen as the new general sales manager (GSM).  A native of Rapid City, Jeana has a tremendous background in television and cable ad sales. Prior to Viamedia, Jeana was working at FiberCom which is now known as Knology (News - Alert). She joined FiberCom in 2002 to launch their ad sales efforts. 

Prior to joining FiberCom, Jeana worked for the local NBC/Fox affiliates. She worked here in numerous positions which ranged from AE to GSM. FiberCom was sold in 2005. After that, Jeana was still involved in marketing, though she worked outside media sales. She was the marketing director for the Spearfish Recreation Center in Spearfish, S.D.

The previous GSM of Viamedia is Mike Johnson. He has now been promoted to Area Business Development Manager. New revenue opportunities will be developed by Mike for all the Viamedia properties in South Dakota. He will be working in close collaboration with the AE’s in Rapid City and Sioux Falls.

The advertising sales for Knology and SDN Communications (News - Alert) in South Dakota are represented by Viamedia. DMA based Cable TV advertising sales and commercial delivery in the United States are independently provided by Viamedia. More than 3.5 million cable households across the United States are represented by Viamedia and affiliate companies. Providing dependable, high quality representation of their advertising inventory to television systems across the country is the focus of the company.
