ABS-CBN Brings AT&T's Filipino On Demand to More Viewers

AT&T U-Verse, a division of AT&T (News - Alert), recently announced that ABS-CBN International has launched its video on demand television service, Filipino On Demand. Under the terms of agreement, AT&T U-Verse will be offering free connectivity to the Filipino On Demand with every subscription to the Filipino Channel (TFC) or The Filipino Package, following the celebration of TFC’s 15th anniversary.

TFC can be accessed through via satellite, cable, and its website as well on the mobile phone. ABS (News - Alert)-CBN has the largest viewership of Filipino entertainment and broadcasting in the U.S. By forming this agreement ABS-CBN hopes to continue to actively promote the Filipino community and is sure that The Filipino On Demand, with its wide range of entertainment programs, is sure of reaching a wider audience and increase viewership.

AT&T U-Verse TV provides crystal-clear picture, choice programming, access to over 130 HD channels, and video on demand services, as well as multiview channel browsing and exclusive Total Home DVR. To set up the AT&T U-Verse, a set top box and high-speed Internet connection is required. AT&T U-Verse users should access the On Demand menu, select Subscription to the TFC, then go on to th International category, and choose Filipino. Filipino On Demand showcases award-winning Pinoy classics, blockbuster hits, touching miniseries drama and live concerts every month, 24/7.

Some of the featured movies to be showcased in the month of December include, “9 Mornings”, released in the year 2000; “I Wanna Be Happy”, released in 2006; and “Family Drama”, released in 1998.

With fresh and frequently updated programming, our customers can connect back home in the Philippines by catching their favorite stars and shows with the convenience of an on demand service.”
