GoToMyPC and GoToMeeting Offers Introduced by Cablevision Systems

In an announcement made by by Cablevision Systems Corp. or CVC, two new offers have been added to the Optimum Business Benefits program. Cablevision’s existing alliance partners, FedEx, ADP, CardWorks and US Business Technology are now being joined by Citrix Online.

Small businesses are provided with easy, dependable remote access to their Mac or PC machines from anywhere with the first offer, Citrix Online’s (News - Alert) GoToMyPC. Easy web conferencing and online meetings are delivered by the second offer, Citrix Online’s GoToMeeting.

Enhanced value in the form of discounted pricing on products and services is provided by the Optimum (News - Alert) Business Benefits program. This program is provided to Optimum Business customers who subscribe to both Optimum Voice and Optimum Online. Unparalleled access to mission-critical business tools is provided through this program. Small businesses can be therefore run more smoothly, easily and in a cost-effective manner.

In a release, Kathy Chill, VP of business development at Citrix Online said, “With our strong commitment to the SMB market, we welcome the opportunity to help small businesses access new products and thrive through Cablevision’s Optimum Business Benefits program.”

Chill added that the company’s GoTo family of products provides fast, reliable and secure computer access and a seamless way to meet. Businesses are therefore able to connect and collaborate online from any location. They are also able to achieve immediate ROI.

According to Stephanie Anderson, VP of marketing for commercial services at Cablevision, with the addition of the GoToMyPC and GoToMeeting, the company is able to provide the small business customers with more opportunities to save on mission-critical business service.

In a release, Anderson said, “Members of the Optimum Business Benefits program now have access to special offers on web conferencing, secure remote access to work files from anywhere, shipping and document services, credit card processing, office equipment leasing and payroll services. Depending on usage, the savings realized from our benefits program actually covers the customer’s communications costs.”
