iTSCOM Selects Sigma Systems to Manage Triple-Play Service Fulfillment and Device Provisioning

Sigma Systems (News - Alert), an industry leader in Advanced IP Service Fulfillment solutions, has been selected by iTSCOM, a cable operator headquartered in Tokyo, to manage triple-play service fulfillment and device provisioning for its 250,000 subscribers. Also, iTSCOM has purchased Sigma Systems' Service Management Platform (SMP) and Device Provisioning Manager (DPM). iTSCOM will offer these integrated products via a managed solution in the cloud to cable operators throughout Japan.

Utilizing these products within its own DOCSIS 3.0 and PacketCable network, iTSCOM will use Sigma Systems' OSS solution to rapidly accelerate the automation and deployment of iTSCOM's triple-play services and service bundles across its serving area.

“With Sigma Systems' industry leading solutions for cable operators, we can easily manage IP devices and automate the deployment of iTSCOM's advanced services now; with the flexibility to support our OSS SaaS (News - Alert) solution offering in the future,” said Hiroshi Kawamura, its communications chairman, in a statement. “We look forward to continuing to develop our partnership with Sigma Systems for the benefit of both our subscribers and our expanded business efforts over the coming months.”

The company recently announced that YouSee which is the largest cable operator in Denmark and a subsidiary of TDC A/S has implemented Sigma Systems' Service Management Platform (SMP) in order to its high-speed data, VoIP and mobile broadband services throughout the country.
