Avail-TVN will be offering video on demand (VOD) service to the subscribers of Bermuda CableVision and the content delivered will be available in both SD and HD.

Avail-TVN claimed that its On Demand platform is efficient and easy to implement and its single docking station solution reduces capital costs, headend space requirements and operational complexity. Bermuda CableVision is the island’s only supplier of HDTV and content will be delivered to it by Avail-TVN from studios, networks and specialty content providers.

Avail-TVN asserted that it has more experience in digital On Demand content preparation and asset management than any other VOD provider. With its decade long expertise in delivering on-demand services, the company features content preparation systems that have been designed to accommodate rapid program turnaround, schedule growth, and new On Demand programming concepts.
