Cycle30 Provides Customer Service Experience to Operators with Billing Service

By Rachel Ramsey, TMCnet Web Editor

Cycle30, provider of hosted order-to-cash billing services for cable, telecommunication and utility operators, has enabled order-to-cash billing support for the recent iPhone 4S launch by quad-play telecommunications operator General Communication, Inc. (GCI (News - Alert)) throughout the state of Alaska. The device deployment is the latest in GCI’s wireless offering to be billed using the same back-office Cycle30 platform that enables GCI voice, video and Internet services.

Operators that choose the Cycle30 hosted billing services can more easily enforce business rules, cross-sell and bundle services, and anticipate customer needs across all product offerings. Cycle30 also simplifies work for customer service representatives, who can sell, order, provision, monitor and manage all communications services in one system, with a complete view of any customer’s existing products and services.

Cycle30 recently attended The Cable Show 2012 in Boston, Mass., where it promoted its tag (News - Alert) line, “It’s time to love your billing provider again.”

“Billing is a difficult business. Everyone loves to send out a bill but no one wants to pay a bill,” said Issac Szymanczyk, director of marketing and PR, Cycle 30. “We launched this company because we believe we can provide a better customer service experience to operators who need a billing service.”

Operators require real-life needs out of their billing system, including end of month reporting to financial departments, ties to their general electric system, and good marketing responsiveness.

“Not all of the software vendors get that. We bring a different approach. We have experience being an operator in the past and we believe we understand that and can partner with operators in the way they need,” added Szymanczyk.

Cycle30 provides an integrated service for multiple services, applications and devices and delivers all of that to a consumer on a single bill. Operators today need to focus on acquiring and retaining customers and delivering service, as well as relying on accurate, timely revenue assurance. The Cycle30 platform provides customer management, service fulfillment, billing and revenue management, service assurance, integrations and business intelligence.
