Cables To Go Unveils Three Innovative AV and IT Connectivity Solutions

Cables To Go, a source of high-performance cabling and connectivity solutions, announced the availability of its new connectivity solutions.

The new products launched by Cables To Go include RapidRun Multi-Format, TruLink HDMI over Cat5 and TruLink Media Gateway (News - Alert). These products are designed to simplify installation and offer greater flexibility and ability to extend audio and video signals over long distances.

RapidRun Multi-Format is an extension of the RapidRun product line introduced in 2005. The solution includes individually shielded pairs and an isolated ground for audio lines, designed to meet the demands of modern video conferencing applications. The solution delivers quick and effortless in-wall A/V connectivity is unmatched.

TruLink HDMI over Cat5 is an extension to Cables To Go of A/V over Cat5 solutions. It extends HDMI signals up to 300 feet over a solid conductor, Cat5e or Cat6 cables without signal degradation. The solution utilizes HDBaseT technology. It can offer digital connectivity options in combination with existing analog solutions such as VGA, VGA + 3.5mm audio and VGA + 3.5mm audio + RS232 for installations where both analog and digital signals are required.

The TruLink Media Gateway is designed to offer hassle-free display of content from portable electronics through easy-to-use plug and play technology for the conference room, classroom and other common areas. The company offers four different models to meet the different application needs. Connectivity options include HDMI, VGA, composite video, 3.5mm audio and a connection for Apple (News - Alert) devices, USB and Ethernet, plus power receptacles.

Cables To Go will showcase three innovative new solutions at InfoComm 2012.

Earlier this year at the 2012 International CES (News - Alert), Cables To Go announced the release of TruLink High Speed HDMI Active Optical Cable (AOC). Using AOC technology, this unique cable is ideal for distributing high-definition A/V from source to display in a variety of commercial venues.
