Resilience Acquires ACI Telecom Infrastructure Firm

Resilience Capital Partners, a leading private equity firm has acquired ACI, Advanced Communications (News - Alert) Inc., a provider of telecommunications infrastructure services to telcos, cable operators and other businesses.

Resilience Capital Partners co-chief executive officer, Steve Rosen said that they were excited to partner with ACI, an established business partner to some of the leading telephone and cable television systems in the country, while announcing the deal on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012.

He added that ACI had a well-established franchise, committed employees and valued expertise, providing a strong foundation from which to grow the business. Rosen went on to add that they were looking forward to working with the firm's management and employees to help ACI become the very best company it can be.

As the growth prospects at ACI will require the company to add to its existing human capital immediately, ACI was expected to hire additional employees at all levels in the company, added Rosen.

Michael Falsetti, Advanced Communications founder, commented that ACI was looking forward to its partnership with Resilience, a firm with an outstanding reputation for reinvesting in, and strengthening, the prospects of its portfolio companies. He added that they were looking forward to working with Resilience to take our operations to the next level.

Financial terms of the acquisition are not yet known.

Resilience Capital Partners investments in ACI will be directed by Doug Campbell, a senior vice-president in Resilience Capital Partner’s operation Group.

Resilience Capital Partners, the private-equity firm manages multiple funds with capital under management in excess of $300 million. It targets companies with EBITDA typically under $20 million and with $25 million to $500 million in revenue. Resilience Capital Partners is based in Cleveland and its current portfolio companies include ASC Signal (News - Alert), WT Hardwoods Group, CR Brands, North Coast Minerals, Thermal Solutions Manufacturing, Penda and ChemDesign Products.

ACI was acquired by Resilience through Aero Communications Inc., a newly formed entity. In the infrastructure-services sector, ACI is Aero Communications’ first acquisition and is the fifth platform investment in The Resilience Fund III.
