Pivotshare Unveils Mixed Martial Arts Channel

By Carolyn J Dawson, TMCnet Contributor

Pivotshare has unveiled a novel resource on its platform, which will offer branded apps, as part of its Customization Services program for chosen publishers. Pivotshare will initially launch the Elite MMA fighting channel as part of this service, and will feature UFC heavyweight worldwide champion Bas Rutten.

Users can now view Pivotshare video content on smartphones or tablets while traveling with the mobile apps. The latest personalized apps can be downloaded from iTunes and the Google (News - Alert) Play store at no extra cost.

Bas Rutten has won the King of Pancrase, a Japanese fighting contest, three times. In a statement, Rutten said, "I have over ten years of video material that was all over the map. I wanted a single place where my fans could subscribe and watch everything I've ever done. Pivotshare made that happen. I'm excited that my friends around the world can now come to my very own channel and watch El Guapo give a few liver shots and maybe pick up some new skills with my fight training. And my own app might even look prettier than me!"

Rutten’s extensive catalogue of MMA fights, martial arts training videos and his bar-fighting classic, Bas Rutten's Lethal Self Defense, can be viewed on the Elite MMA channel. The complete Bas Rutten media library is now available for a monthly fee of only $4.99. Users can start their training at the Elite MMA channel, and the Pivotshare Customization Service will also provide customized URLs along with a white-labeled variant of the platform.

Adam Mosam, founder, Pivotshare said, "From day one we wanted to set ourselves apart by offering content owners and publishers a platform where their brand could shine. We really want them to feel like they truly have ownership of their online property. This is their brand, their content, and all under their control."

Individuals or organizations can easily set up business at Pivotshare.com. They just need to register and upload their content on the website, with no joining or monthly fees. Users are offered a broad array of design options while starting their media business with Pivotshare’s potent design tools.
