SYNNEX Corporation Joins Comcast Business Solutions Provider Program

SYNNEX (News - Alert) Corporation, a distributor of IT products and services that serves thousands of value added resellers (VARs) across the country, recently joined the Comcast (News - Alert) Business Solutions Provider Program as the first distributor to serve as a master agent. 

Comcast Business offers full line of Ethernet, Internet, voice, cloud and TV solutions and these are crucial platforms of SYNNEX’s mobility, communications and networking services distribution practice.  The company’s MOBILITYSolv complements the numerous cloud application services SYNNEX VARs are already offering to their customers to provide an ideal pathway to the cloud.

MOBILITYSolv allows SYNNEX to create “solution bundles” that combine network connectivity services from Comcast Business with other SYNNEX offerings, such as local area network (LAN) switches and routers, servers, security products, storage equipment and mobility products.

Kevin Murai, president and chief executive officer, SYNNEX Corporation, said, “Comcast’s large national footprint of connectivity solutions along with their hosted voice and video solutions provide a natural complement to the needs of SYNNEX customers. By offering these services, our VARs can now provide a singular source to the end user – a true differentiator which allows them to grow their recurring revenues at an accelerated pace.”

These solutions allow SYNNEX VARs to build end-to-end mobility and cloud communications solutions for their customers, from small to medium-sized businesses.

Allen Brooks, executive vice president at ServIT, GA, said in a statement, “The Comcast Business relationship is yet another example of SYNNEX’s innovation, and the resources they put in place to support this model are a ‘game changer’ in the IT distribution industry. We are already recommending services from Comcast Business to our clients, and we use them in our data center and corporate offices. This new relationship will add greater value to ServIT in order to grow our monthly recurring revenue.”
