By Shamila Janakiraman, TMCnet Contributor

Verimatrix (News - Alert) a provider of revenue enhancing solutions for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services has moved to a new headquarters facility in Sorrento Valley, in the San Diego technology district.

The company has been witnessing fast growth and is striving to enhance the delivery of secure multi-network solutions for pay-TV services.

With growth in demand for flexible multi-network video services, Verimatrix’s core business which involves Video Content Authority System (VCAS) solutions that addresses security requirements for all types of pay-TV and over-the-top (OTT) operators is also expanding remarkably.

The new headquarters is expected to fuel this growth as it provides improved network and video infrastructure enhancing both engineering and support capabilities. The building includes a new in-house training facility for partners and customers that can be expanded to form informal meeting and entertainment areas to facilitate local networking and social events.

Also the new facility has 37,000 square feet of space which will benefit executive, sales, marketing, engineering and support offices and personnel. It will bring the core teams of the company under one roof which was dispersed within a campus of offices before. The new facility is expected to increase the productivity of team members by enabling better collaboration.

To enhance collaboration, the concept of “pod” has been used in the layout which effectively promotes interaction with team members, partners and customers locally as well as globally. It provides access to conferencing tools to all interacting members. The building also features a central open-air atrium surrounded by the new offices and work spaces providing natural light ensuring energy efficiency and comfort.

In April 2013, Verimatrix announced that the Verimatrix Video Content Authority System (VCAS) for DVB has been deployed by TiVi (News - Alert) S.A. With this deployment, TiVi S.A is expecting to enhance revenue security for its DVB terrestrial (DVB-T2), one-way network. Till date VCAS for DVB has been successfully deployed by more than 100 operators across the globe and since its deployment no confirmed security breaches have been reported.
