Spike TV has announced that it has signed an exclusive TV-entertainment partnership with Consumer Electronics Association (News - Alert) (CEA). As a part of the agreement, the cable television network will telecast live coverage from the 2012 International CES, the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, to be held from January 10-13, 2012 in Las Vegas.

Under the partnership, Spike will also offer “CES (News - Alert) All Access Live,” which will be available for 12 hours on multiple platforms including TV, online, mobile, social and more, the CES spokespersons announced in a press release.

The CES All Access Live program is divided into multiple segments like what’s next in pop-culture, technology and gaming. The viewers can catch the show on Spike TV, online on Spike.com, GameTrailers.com and Facebook.com, mobile phones and tablets including the iPhone (News - Alert), iPad and Android devices as well as on giant video screens located in the “Crossroads of the World” in New York City’s Times Square.

The trade show is a celebrated launching pad for new products based on cutting edge technologies. The audience will have the opportunity to share the amazing product launches at the 2012 CES and preview them before they hit the markets.

In addition, breaking news from the 2012 CES show floor will be available. The viewers will also be able to learn about exclusive world premieres of new “must own” devices and video games, hands-on demonstrations and unboxings and interviews with the biggest names in entertainment and technology.

Last but not least, viewers will be able to catch a glimpse into Spike’s exclusive VIP CES party at Tryst Nightclub in the Wynn Las Vegas.

“We’re excited to partner with CEA and bring CES to audiences like never before on live television. Cultural events like CES will offer our viewers a first look at the things they’ll be playing, watching and talking about in the next year and Spike’s ‘CES All Access Live’ multi-platform program offerings will deliver a front row seat to all the action,” Jon Slusser, senior vice president of sports and multi-platform events at Spike TV, noted in a statement.

CES All Access Live will also feature an unparalleled social media experience as part of its programming coverage using Twitter (News - Alert) and Facebook to engage audience participation and provide up-to-the-minute feedback.

Last week CEA announced that the 2010 International CES was named both the largest tradeshow and the tradeshow with the highest economic impact by Trade Show Executive (TSE) Magazine.
