Procera Receives Order Worth $2 Million

Just three months after receiving a $6 million follow-on order by a North American cable MSO, intelligent policy enforcement company Procera Networks (News - Alert), Inc. has received another follow-on order worth $2 million from the MSO. The order for Procera's PacketLogic solutions shows the company’s expertise in the MSO market as well as the results it has been able to deliver through its solutions.

“This third follow-on order reflects Procera's strength in the MSO markets and the movement towards service delivery based on the analytics provided by Report Studio,” said Cam Cullen, vice president of Global Marketing at Procera. “Operators continue to face an explosion in bandwidth usage and their performance and scalability requirements are growing daily.”

With Procera's PacketLogic solutions, operators can seamlessly create personalized services on a large scale with assured performance and scalability for throughput, subscribers, services, policy transactions, statistics, and accounting. Recently, Procera Networks Inc unveiled new 100GE-capable Intelligent Policy Enforcement (IPE) platform called, the PacketLogic 20000 (PL20000).

Offering 320Gbps per system and up to 5 Tbps per cluster, the new PL20000 supports for up to 72 ports of 10GE and four ports of 100GE interfaces. Currently more than 10 million active subscribers and 120 million active flows are supported by the new PL20000, which can enforce services and collect charging information on every active flow in the system.

This solution can also be used with Procera's PacketLogic Subscriber Management System to rapidly create innovative, sticky service offerings based on business analytics provided by the PacketLogic Report Studio.
