KnowledgeLink, a company that offers training and consulting for the cable telecommunications industry, has signed a strategic alliance agreement with WeiTel to provide a combination of instructor-led and hands-on training and certification courses targeted for independent contractors and cable operators.

 

Weintraub Telecomm (News - Alert), LLC (WeiTel) designs, deploys and manages voice, video and data networks for telecommunications companies, wireless operators and select commercial customers throughout the U.S.

 

“This alliance brings together a powerful combination of professional development training and practical field experience. We look forward to delivering both dimensions in our offerings,” said Justin Junkus, president of KnowledgeLink.

 

As per the terms of the agreement, both companies will jointly offer a unique curriculum of cable industry courseware that combine instructor-led training with hands-on labs and job aids for personal digital devices such as iPods and MPEG phones.

 

The courses will be delivered in WeiTel’s training facility.

Weintraub emphasized that this certification package will facilitate enabling services delivery of new technology platforms such as business services, cellular backhaul and many other triple and quad-play services.
