Cables To Go Launches RapidRun Wall Plates for Schools

By Divya Narain, TMCnet Contributor

Cabling and connectivity solutions provider, Cables To Go, has released new wall plates for educational institutions for its award-winning RapidRun modular cabling system.

The wall plates, together with RapidRun, allow teachers to provide an interactive learning environment by connecting to various A/V components such as a projector, interactive white board, computer and/or cable/satellite signal.

The wall plates provide several signal connections in a single box for various classroom applications. In addition, the brushed aluminum wall plates are more hard-wearing than standard wall plates. They also blend in with the rest of classroom furnishings.

The wall plates come in six different configurations and more will be added during the year. These plates have different combinations of connectors for Composite Video, PC Video, S-Video, 3.5 mm stereo audio, left and right stereo audio, and keystone ports for cable and network connections.

The multi-connector wall plates coupled with the fact that the RapidRun system supports multiple signals over a single cable ensure that schools have ready access to different components and signal types.

The aluminum wall plates for RapidRun will be distributed through Cables To Go partners.
