DIRECTV and Dish Network Reseller Bulk TV & Internet Improves Finances w/ Intacct

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Facilitating better information-sharing across departments, Intacct, a provider of on-demand financial management and accounting applications, has announced that Bulk TV & Internet has greatly improved its financial operations and its strategic business decision making process by using the Intacct financial management system. The company also leverages Intacct's native integration with salesforce.com to facilitate collaboration.

Previously, Bulk TV worked with QuickBooks and the company states that it faced a number of issues which resulted in downtime and required regular IT intervention. Also, the company had to export data from QuickBooks into Microsoft (News - Alert) Excel and then manually create the reports they wanted as QuickBooks wasn't meeting all the finance team's reporting expectations. Also, there was no easy way of integrating QuickBooks with its Salesforce applications.

According to Bulk TV, Intacct stands apart from the competitors for its on-demand delivery model, rich reporting features and native integration with Salesforce. Now, Bulk TV & Internet can expect to have a complete on-demand financial management solution that helps improve overall operations. Bulk TV can now synchronize customer and contract information between Salesforce and Intacct. Intacct and Salesforce also synchronize shipping, billing, payment and collection details. With this, the company gets rid of duplicate data entry. This also reduces the company's lead-to-cash process, and gives both sales and finance the information they need to make better business decisions.

Bulk TV & Internet offers DIRECTV and Dish Network packages for commercial properties, such as hotels and apartment buildings. Efficiency and productivity, as well as collaboration across departments, are critical to the company's success as a staff of 20 employees cover the entire United States.

“We can now analyze data in ways we were never able to do before. We've even created Intacct reports and dashboards for performance management using non-financial statistical accounts, so we can monitor our contract and installation turnover rates and ensure we are continually operating at optimal levels,” said Brian Madigan, controller at Bulk TV & Internet. “As a result, Intacct not only helps us be more agile, but also enables us to be more strategic in our decision-making.”
