IneoQuest (News - Alert) Technologies has joined the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) as a provider for the association’s members. IneoQuest has stated that they will be offering digital video quality and service assurance solutions to NCTC members.

NCTC is a not-for-profit programming and hardware purchasing cooperative serving more than 1100 cable operators throughout the United States.

IneoQuest Technologies is a provider of unified business solutions that audits, monitors, analyzes and troubleshoots digital video from a multi-dimensional perspective. The company has been serving customers in the telephony, cable, broadcast and network equipment industries. The company’s portfolio includes everything from pre-deployment preparation in lab and field trial phase, to complete end-to-end monitoring and service assurance in post deployment phase.

"Our member companies need access to the latest proven technologies to help them successfully deploy and monitor the digital video networks for delivering Digital Video Broadcast and On-Demand services," said Jeff Abbas, president and CEO for NCTC. "NCTC has negotiated this agreement with IneoQuest to ensure that all of our members have access to IneoQuest's technology and broad product portfolio."

"IneoQuest is excited to enter into this arrangement with NCTC," said Calvin Harrison, VP of marketing for IneoQuest. "We believe in NCTC's mission and the strength it lends to approximately 1,100 independent cable operators that serve over 16 million subscribers nationwide.”

With IneoQuest as a provider, NCTC members can look for digital video monitoring and troubleshooting solutions to reduce their operating expenses (OPEX (News - Alert)). NCTC has said that their member companies now have the required tools for true end-to-end video quality monitoring and troubleshooting in addition to industry leading professional services support to ensure that the technical staff is fully prepared to take on the challenges of video over IP deployments.

According to company officials, IneoQuest will help the NCTC members evade network failures that will be resulting in the increased use of video services and technologies like VOD servers, next generation encoders, high-bandwidth routers, switches, etc.
