Now, technicians with limited Ethernet or IP testing experience can verify performance parameters for Gigabit Ethernet services quickly with test set’s intuitive graphical user interface, high resolution color screen, and simple test profile creation and sharing, company officials say.

 

The SunLite GigE’s traffic generation and measurements cater to the needs of the most demanding testing scenarios, company officials say. Field technicians can verify end-to-end transport of Gigabit Ethernet/IP traffic, transmit and analyze eight independent streams and run test methodology based on RFC2544, company officials say – and all with the help of SunLite GigE.

 

Also, Technicians can use the SunLite GigE to determine throughput, link utilization, latency, and IP connectivity, company officials say. With the accurate results available, technicians can quickly make pass/fail, go/no-go decisions. Copper and fiber GigE testing in the same tester is also possible with the SunLite GigE’s 10/100/1000BASE-T and 1000BASE-X interfaces.
