"The combined company will be located in the former Wilco facility in Fremont, California and will operate under the Cable Connection company name," said Greg Gaches, chief executive officer and president at Cable Connection.

"For the past 35 years, Wilco Wire has been a leading source for domestic manufacturing of cable and harness assemblies, wire wrap boards, and box builds. We are pleased to be able to integrate our design teams and work forces to achieve additional synergy and provide more value as one company," said Greg Gaches, chief executive officer at Cable Connection.

Judy Wilson, president of Wilco Wire mentioned about this merger and said that the combined company would provide the custom and specialized high-quality products in a more cost-efficient way.

Further to the merger agreement, the newly-combined Cable Connection company has also signed a sales partnership agreement with Norcomp, a manufacturers' representative working on building engineering and supply-chain partnerships between the manufacturers.

This agreement is aimed at expanding the Cable Connection’s existing direct sales force and also to allow the company have access to Norcomp's complementary base of customers.

"We chose Norcomp as a sales partner because of their amazing customer base and impeccable reputation in the industry and look forward to a productive business relationship," said Greg Gaches, chief executive officer at Cable Connection.
