Mexican Cable Operator Selects Telarix's Solutions

One of Mexico’s cable operators has selected Telarix’s portfolio of interconnect business optimization solutions.
Telarix (News - Alert) officials said that the service provider will leverage Telarix’s iXTools to manage its growing portfolio of services, including digital voice.
Giving details of iXTools, company officials said that it is built on a traffic-agnostic platform that enables service providers to optimize, rate and bill for different types of traffic on their network such as TDM voice traffic as well as content and VoIP.
Telarix’s iXTools is a suite of software modules that enables service providers to reduce costs and increase profitability across their interconnect networks.
By analyzing both revenue and cost information associated with different types of traffic in near real-time, service providers can optimize network routing and identify financial risks and opportunities while ensuring that each traffic type is captured, rated and billed accurately.
Company officials said that in addition to deploying Telarix’s partner management and trade solutions, the cable operator will implement Telarix’s revenue assurance modules iXBill and iXAudit.
The service provider, by leveraging Telarix’s highly flexible interconnect billing system, iXBill, expects to eliminate potential revenue leakage by ensuring that every type of traffic is captured, rated and invoiced correctly.
“To stay competitive, innovative service providers are deploying next generation interconnect business optimization solutions which enable them to quickly and efficiently launch, manage and bill for new products and services,” said Glen Kazerman, COO of Telarix, in a statement.
Kazerman said that by implementing iXTools, Mexico’s foremost cable operator will reduce costs, increase network efficiencies and enhance its ability to develop and deploy new revenue generating services.
