Time Warner Cable Inc. has signed up its four millionth residential Digital Phone subscriber, according to the company.
 
This accomplishment, according to the company, further solidifies its position as the nation’s sixth largest phone provider.
 
“Reaching this milestone is testament to the fact that customers look for communication solutions that are simple and easy,” said Glenn Britt, chairman, president and chief executive officer at Time Warner (News - Alert) Cable.
 
“The combination of having one bill for a bundle of Time Warner Cable products and the inclusion of innovative features such as Caller ID on TV continues to drive the growth and success of this product.”
 
With technologically advanced, well-clustered systems located in five geographic areas - New York State (including New York City), the Carolinas, Ohio, southern California (including Los Angeles) and Texas, Time Warner Cable serves more than 14 million customers who subscribe to one or more of its video, high-speed data and voice services.
